  1. SAME issue here, I raised a ticket and have done everything Line6 told and no resolution so far... It is FRUSTRATING!
  2. Yes on the line6 website, same as the link you mentioned "You're downloading Drivers 7.3.7 Filesize: 3.44 MB MD5: 40e62ff656ca8202f8ddf742d8a63e7f If your download does not start, click here "
  3. Hi Leesteel, You r trying to help and thank you so much for that. I have verified all the steps you mentioned: #1 make sure you have all OSX updates in place. - Done #2 test your USB port with some other device. - Done and it works fine, in fact even with POD HDEdit #3 Uninstall Monkey and reinstall. Make sure Monkey is up to date. - Done, upgraded to 1.7 current latest #4 Look for my thread titled "follow the bouncing monkey" you might find a clue, compare your own folders. - I had already run into this problem, and resolved it through the same steps mentioned in this thread - before I reported this issue #5 Monkey should prompt you to upgrade USB also. - It does not Hope some one has a solution to this, or support guys resolve my ticket soon..
  4. NO SOLUTION? What sort of forum is this?? This question is a dead duck for 4 days! I had raised a ticket with Line6 also and no reply from them either. Not very encouraging! Can someone in the know point me in the right direction? I want to make it work so - upgrade of the firmware becomes possible - can use it for Recording using through Garageband This is as basic a functionality as it can get. I really the sounds from this unit, but the support system appears poor. Hope this impression is going to change.
  5. Hi, I'm having issues updating HD500x to the latest fw. All along the USB port is working fine through HDEdit, and I am able to edit patches etc, no issue. Line6 Monkey 1.7 fails to list the unit or any options for HD500x As mentioned in the title, I'm using line6 Monkey v1.7 does not list PodHD500x on MacOSX Yosemite. Have installed drivers 7.3.7. Any help will be great. Thanks!
  6. Thank you all, worth giving it a whirl.
  7. Thanks for the inputs. The answers seem a little diplomatic ;) 1. It will help if I can get the realism factor for say, just these models: Fender, Marshall Plexi, Marshall JCM800 and the Rectifier. 2. I gather the drive pedals are ok, but not as close, from the above 3. Again, do they have regular firmware updates where they listen to our requests and add in more amp models at least like once in few months?
  8. Hi, I am thinking of getting one of these but want to understand a few things before I plunge. 1. How is the amp realism on these? Do the amp models sound close enough to their real counterparts? 2. Similarly how close is the modelling of the drive pedals? 3. I see there are no high gain Marshalls (DSL, JVM-OD1 orange, red and OD2 orange, red). They are really nice go-to amp tones. Also, there is no Roland JC clean amp. Are there regular software updates so these models get added? 4. Is there any "fizz" which mars the quality of sounds you get from this unit? 5. Is the hardware reliable? Hope a lot of experts on this forum would be able to chime in. Thanks!
