  1. I recently started playing in a project that's a hybrid band/electronic setup. The drummer and I have recorded stems in Ableton, and I'm using an HX Stomp XL directly into an interface (which is connected to Ableton) to play guitar and have it sent to our PA speakers. However, since we have multiple backing stems in Ableton, I'd like to have a midi footswitch that I can use to essentially mute and unmute tracks. This way, I can decide which guitar part I'd like to play on the fly. I'm a little annoyed because I HAD an old FBV Shortboard MKII that I didn't use for years and threw out a few months ago, and apparently that would have done EXACTLY what I was looking for (of course -- this is why I seldom throw out gear. As soon as I chuck something, I need it a few months later). However, I do have a Pod Go laying around, as I was using that before upgrading to the HX Stomp. I'm trying to see if I could essentially put it into a midi controller mode, but all the resources I've found while Googling around pertain to sending midi signals into the Pod Go itself to change patches, etc. I'm actually trying to do the opposite (send midi from Pod Go to Ableton). Is this possible?
