Ok, so I was using the power supply from a POD Live XT. Apparently, that power supply has problems running the Variax. Thanks for the help!

It only goes into a restart loop when the JTV is plugged in with the VDI cable. When the guitar is plugged in with a 1/4" guitar cable it works fine, even the models.

Cable may be questionable. I can't update the firmware because I keep getting a midi port error.

I managed to get Line 6 Monkey to recognize the Variax but, I can't update the firmware, says midi port issue

Hello, when I plug my JTV 69 into my POD HD500x through VDI it causes the POD to go into a restarting loop. The guitar works fine with a battery and guitar cable. Anyone have any idea if it's a bad cable or something else. Thanks
