Got same problem with Pod XT Live and kept landing on this thread. Different device, but same nature of problem. PC on windows 10 crashes when turning pod off or removing cable. Found that disabling the pod in windows device manager before disconnecting or turning off the pod avoids a PC crash. Kinda sucks, but the alternative is I have to hook up a separate PC running legacy software.
