  1. I'm guessing you didn't hear anything else @garryedgar ? This has been tripping me up occasionally for a while but I so seldom use the PolyWham it didn't bother me until last night when it happened live. Glad it's been confirmed as an issue anyway!
  2. Well, I can certainly hear the difference in that comparison....I don't see that noise level with my VX, for what it's worth.
  3. I think we'd need to hear the VX recording with the recorder compared to another mic with the same recorder to get any real idea as to whether there's an issue (rather than comparing recorder with the VX to uke? with a different mic). I've never recorded a recorder so can't comment on using the VX with such but I'm very happy with it for recording (rough) vocals and particularly the stereo mic for 12 string guitar. It does have a characteristic "sound" compared to my other mics but I've not found noise to be an issue.
  4. ......is there any such device that you can use with both an iOS and a Windows system at the same time? Can't say I'm surprised you can't with the VX as I can't think of any others that you can either but I may be wrong. I assume that the reason folk want to is to control the guitar sounds using the iOS device? Personally, I'd be happier with a Windows editor.
  5. ...further research (Wikipedia!) suggests that the iPad Mini 2 was originally marketed as the Mini with Retina Display...(though not in the UK I think which is where I am). Which makes your answer more useful than before, Silverhead! So thanks again. :) Maybe time for Line 6 to update their compatibility list if this name change is indeed true...particularly since as far as I'm aware my iPad has always been called a Mini 2.
  6. Thanks for the reply and yes I've seen that list of compatible devices. No it is not called Mini with Retina display (or is it?...see below) It's the second iteration of the iPad mini. http://store.apple.com/us/buy-ipad/ipad-mini-2 There is now also an iPad mini 3. I suspect all work with the VX but would rather know for sure before spending the money. I do not have an issue but do not want to a buy a device that isn't supported. Hence my question asking if there is anyone out there with an iPad mini 2 using the VX. Thanks again for your answer. :)
  7. Hi all, have tried a search but can't seem to find a definitive answer. Is there anyone out there successfully using an ipad Mini 2 with their Sonic Port VX? Any info much appreciated. Thanks!
