In one of the other posts, the writer said that if the phone was "doing nothing else" it would not skip. My question was a response to this do I could turn off whatever else the phone was doing and stop the skipping.

So how do I make sure the phone does nothing else

When playing music (whether from my itunes library, or streaminig audio) there are intermittent gaps in the sounds. I have upgraded to the latest version from my iphone, and the problem remains. What can I do?
