Hi Line 6 Forum Colleagues
Looking for some quick advice please. I have a Spider Valve Mk II 212 with the FBV Shortboard MkII pedal board. I'm thinking of purchasing a JTV 89F variax but want to check if this guitar compatible for use with this 'old' amp? I've tried to search about to see how the Variax works - it is new to me - but can't find anything with clear use or explanation. Does the guitar just plug straight into the guitar 1/4" jack input on the amp? and do the guitar sounds/tunings etc run from the guitar itself?
Can I get the best out of the JTV89F with this set-up? Or do i need to change my amp or FBV shortboard or something?
What are the recommendations?
