  1. I recently purchased Sunlite Suite 2 and was hoping to use the HD500X as a MIDI foot controller. I previously was using a DMX Operator 192 and had no issues triggering a bank of scenes with it. I did find that the HD500X was missing the lowest octave of Midi Notes and I was not able to trigger any chases but that is beside the point. I have tried using an M-Audio Uno and the iConnect MIO and I can't get anywhere with it. I am just curious if I am missing a step somewhere. Do I need some other type of interface to control DMX software? Is there additional software that I need to install? I also plan on posting this on the Sunlite forum as I am not sure where the breakdown is occurring. It's painfully obvious that I am doing something wrong and I am losing my mind trying to figure out what that is. http://www.nicolaudie.com/online_manuals/en/539-590-SUNLITE-5jKMpYXh3Pr8Kj7UmXdfPgY7LoL.htm --> External Controlling and Triggering --> Console (MIDI, DMX, EasyRemote, Joystick) I am running Windows 7 and my HD500X is on the latest software version.
  2. I recently purchased the POD HD500X and I was hoping to use it as a MIDI controller for my Elation DMX Operator 192. I am able to trigger almost everything that the DMX controller has to offer. I found that the lowest MIDI note that the HD500X will send is a C0. C0 corresponds to MIDI Note 12 on the DMX controller so that will Turn on/off Scene 1. It appears that I need 1 lower octave to trigger MIDI Notes 0-11. I have tried every Note On message available to see if they would trigger 0-11 but no luck (C0 through G9). Is there anyway to adjust this on the HD500X or possibly an update that would resolve this issue? Midi Note Function 0-11 Turn on/off Chase 1-12 (doesn't work) 12-19 Turn on/off Scene 1-8 (works) 20-49 Select Bank 1-30 (works) 50 Enable/Disable Audio (works) 51 Enable/Disable Auto (works) 52 Enable/Disable Blackout (works) I currently own the Line 6 DreamStage and I love it! I used to run sound for my band and as well as perform and now the StageScape m20d runs our sound. When I realized that the HD500X would send MIDI Notes I was ecstatic. If this issue gets resolved then I will be free to perform and easily control my lights with a foot controller and that is huge! I realize this is an obscure request but I have tons of faith in Line 6 and I hope there is something that can be done. Thanks!
  3. I tried this out at a live show and it sounded great. I will be using this for every show!
  4. I really appreciate all of the help! I am going to try this out Fri night. I will let everyone know how it sounds.
  5. I have 2 open Monitor sends as well as 13, 14, and 15 inputs open. Would I be able to do this with just the Stagescape or would I need another mixer? I apologize in advance for coming off as a nube but I don't have much experience with mixing drums. Here Is how I would assume this is done. I currently mic the Kick, Top Snare, Bottom Snare, 2 Overheads. 1. Set up a stereo monitor for C and D. 2. Send each drum mic to this stereo monitor. 3. Plug a XLR Jack to 1/4 IN Plug from C to input 13 3. Plug a XLR Jack to 1/4 IN Plug from D to input 14 4. Assign Drum Bus Crush preset to inputs 13 and 14 5. Send both the original mic inputs and inputs 13 and 14 to the Main outputs.
  6. I checked and found it again and it is a preset for the 13-16 inputs. Now what is it designed for?
  7. As I recall it was a L/R line input with a picture of a drum kit. Since then I have been trying to find it by tweaking an existing 1 - 12 input. I am playing a show tonight and I will try one of the line inputs instead as that makes more sense. Thanks
  8. So I must be loosing my mind... I don't see that preset anymore. After the firmware update it was in the Artist presets and now it's gone. Or was it a dream????
  9. I am trying to figure out what the Drum Bus Crush preset would be used for. I am hoping that it is for a pair of drum overhead mics.
