Hey Guys, apologies as this might be kind of long, as I want to try to be as specific as possible. So when using the Helix editor on computer, when I plug into my focusrite 2i2, and use my studio monitors (Presonus Eris E5) any time I try to set up a tone, with distortion amps and cabs, my sound is instantly fizzy. like as if I plugged into an FRFR and turned off my Cab sims on the helix. like its instantly just gross sounding. What boggles the mind, is I get the same type of sound when I use the Plug-in as well, whether its with Pro-tools at the studio my band owns, or at my home studio. The same thing happens, Fizzy sounds no matter what "drive" amp I use and no matter the Cabinet, even when I go dual cabinet, or amp-Cab. I usually end up having to use my Boss Katana MKII 2x12 (connecting into the power amp in on the back, by passing any preamp) to do any type of editing. But since that isnt a true FRFR I won't always get a solid sound, and have to do quick editing after any show, hopefully remembering what needed adjusted. Long story, short. has anyone had this "fizzy" issue when trying to set up tones and what not, when using studio monitors? I will admit I am somewhat "new" to the Helix world, only using it for about a year. So am I missing a step or something super simple maybe? Let me know what anyone thinks. I really appreciate it my Helix friends. Also, please be kind. :D
