Here is my situation:

I guess I wasn't clear. I know the hex size I need. A hex key has two shafts; a long shaft and a short shaft. My problem is the length of the short shaft of the standard key is too long to fit between the bridge pickup and the bridge. My question is are the dimensions of the Line 6 key shafts themselves non-standard?

Ah. I bought mine used and it didn't come with any hex wrenches. As far as I can tell standard hex wrenches have a small section of the "L" that is too long to fit between the guitar bridge pickup and the bridge. Are the Variax hex wrenches of a custom shaft size?

How do folks get access to the set screws on the JTV-59 to adjust the intonation? Remove the bridge? Remove the bridge pickup?

Thanks. I created this patch a few days ago with firmware 2.81, so it's not a firmware carryover issue.

I've set up a patch with Snapshots with Variax. One snapshot using standard tuner, the other mimics Keith Richards's 5 string G - D - G - B - D tuning. For the second tuning I've assigned the 5th and 1st strings for pitch detuning and assigned them to a snapshot controller. This feature seems to work perfectly. I've also assigned the 6th level to "0" and assigned it to the Snapshot controller in the same way as the detuning. The problem is that while the detuning works perfectly, the string level is erratic and unpredictable. Sometimes when the Snapshot is selected the volume is correctly set to "0", and other times it remains at "100". I can't even detect a pattern to its behavior. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I got that much. When I scroll through the available Powercab Plus speaker IR's using, for example, Helix Edit, only the built-in IR's appear. My after-market IRs (eg Wire and OwnHammer) do not appear, and as far as I can tell cannot be controlled from within a snapshot.

Is there any point in using Helix Snapshots with Powercab 12 Plus? I can't seem to get individual snapshots to change anything on the powercab, particularly speaker IRs.
