Yep, highlighting 'flash memory' and still getting the disabled 'update selection' button.

Hi guys, I have a bass pod xt, for which I updated the firmware and flashed the memory via line 6 monkey. Following this when I turn on the pod I get 'Invalid code error 01'. I've tried holding down the leftmost button beneath the display during power on, also each of the buttons beneath the display and the save and edit buttons simultaneously. Line 6 monkey is finding the bass pod, knows that it is a bass pod, but won't let me flash the memory again. My next course of action is to send it to a service center but I'm hoping that there's something that you guys know that I don't. Is there anything I can do to resuscitate my bass pod without sending it away?
