I need to get start this is new to meI need all the help i can get.

  2. I have used this method before & it sounds great. My questions are for the specific settings that work best through my rig with this method. 1.What should the correct output setting be for 4 cable method? ( I have been using stacked front output setting with single cable method into Mesa head ). 2. What are the recommended FX loop settings be set at ? a. How should I even out the volume difference between the FX loop on & off when using my Amp foot switch? 3. What settings should my mixer settings be in the signal chain ? 4. Since I am not using stereo set up should I make changes in the pan settings A & B ? 5. Suggested settings & advantages for occasional Amp modeling ? Any other suggestions you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Right now at practice i just run it through the front of my Mesa Dual Rectifier half stack.. Been awhile since I tried the 4 cable method. This time I want to make sure my settings have been set up correctly. I Have a gig next week & want the best sound my Rig & HD500 can give me. Thanks to My Rock & Roll Line 6 Forum Friends. Timothy
  3. Good Afternoon: I have Yngwie Malmsteen patch with Amp modeling that sounds great at lower volume but when I push it through my main stage amp ( Mesa half stack clean channel) at stage volume it sounds thin, sterile & fuzzy, Sounds terrible. I have had this problem with all patches that use Amp modeling & even the ones I have downloaded from the Line 6 tone mods. What can I do ? Thanks for time to read my Question & look forward to solution asap. Sincerely Timothy. Have a great Day.
  4. I have my HD500 set up 4 cable method through my Mesa Dual Rectifier. I have the HD500 effects loop set so that it matches the same volume as my amp when FX is not engaged. I have it set up for When I stomp on my Mesa foot switcher FX button to turn off the loop it is the same volume. When I want to record a loop so that I can play over the top of it live , the recorded loop volume is barely noticeable? How do I fix this problem? How do I adjust the volume levels so all is in sink with my rig ? Appreciate the help. Frustrated Me Timothy
  5. I am running a 4 cable method with my Pod hd500 through a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier and have several questions. 1. How do I wire up and add analog pedals to work with my hd500? 2. For some reason I cant use the record loop feature when using the 4 cable method? Possible I have to move loop player in chain? Would like to record my rhythms while playing with band so I can add leads in real time. 3. What should the master volume on the hd500 be set at ? I appreciate any input I can get to get the very best sound. So far my rig sounds amazing. Thank you & keep rocking. Timothy
  6. Hello all : I am a new owner of my Line 6 HD500 and really excited about this gear. It has been a challenge at times to learn all its features & what it has to offer. I recently added some custom mod tones that now I am not happy with. My Question is : How do I remove some of them ? Have a great Day & Rock & Roll. Timothy :)
