  1. Squeegy/All Others: I found out the hard way about how it doesn't play in the background right after getting it home from GC while trying to practice music from a web-based music ministry software. So, I decided to load music onto my ipad for the first time for the in-app player and it didn't sync. While I was troubleshooting like a madman, I saw that Mobile POD has it's own app-specific settings tab. So.... Settings -> Mobile POD -> Background Audio -> set to "On" :) I did something productive today. Thank goodness.
  2. Alright, folks, this one is long but VERY worth reading!!! So, Squeegy and all others.... found out about the whole "unable to play Mobile POD in the background" thing. I subsequently decided to load some music to the ipod to play along with. When I went to sync my ipad, it didn't sync and i started troubleshooting like a mad man. While I was in settings trying to mess with my ipad, I noticed that Mobile POD had an app-specific setting tab at the bottom of the settings menu (on the left hand side). Well, long story short... Settings -> Mobile POD -> Background Audio -> set to "On" And, right underneath it, it says: "Allows Mobile POD to continue to process incoming audio while running in the background. This is useful if you intend to use Mobile POD while operating other audio applications at the same time. Note: If an Audiobus connection is active, Mobile POD will continue to process audio in the background, regardless of the Background Audio setting." Also, Squeegy - great to hear another bassist is using this app/interface! I haven't tried it with a bass yet, but I'm pumped to give it a go now! Were you playing a passive or active bass? I run with the active crowd and I've got an 18V setup... worried about toasting the input... And, to Line 6 - We need to be able to power our ipads and play too! How can we get that working? Also, why do we not have a plain ol' USB cable to connect this awesome portable I/O to our computers?!?!?
