  1. I started experiencing the exact same issue after I upgraded the unit to 3.8. I own this device for 2 years and never ever had this issue before. I opened a ticket with the support team but all they recommended is to roll back to version 3.7 and check if the issue still exists. They also suggested to do a factory reset and to re-install 3.8 via Line 6 Updated which I did but it didn't help. I already use a new amp from 3.8 and don't want to go back the only reason why I am still running 3.8 is it happenes not often and never happened on a show or rehersal. I've noticed it happens when the unit runs for a long time like for a few hrs in a row as I am using it as audio interface too so yes in my case it's always connected to my laptop over USB..
