Hey y'all,
So I bought a Spider valve hd100 mk1 from a guy about a year ago (2012). I played lots of shows and recorded with it, but I always took excellent care of it. I got it about with about a year of use on it. It was working marvelously up until about october 2013. One day I turn my amp on to jam a bit, and the DSP settings that come with the amp started cycling by themselves. After a couple minutes, it would return to normal and I would play and be fine. Then in December 2013, the problem got worse. It would do the same thing as I mentioned before, but at a much faster pace and it would not stop after a couple minutes or even after an hour. Has anyone had this problem before? Any ideas of what it might be? I've already bought a new head (different brand) but I want to know if its salvageable or even worth the money to salvage it. PLEASE HELP!
