thank you for your anser and what i have to do when i want to add a specific effect in the middle of the song?

i want to make a stupid question but really i'm little confused... if i have my amplifi and i chose to play a suggested tone from the app and as i' m playing the guitar part, during the song the guitar effects change often or change the channel from clean to overdrive for example...this changes become automaticaly or this should be done by me somehow ???
