    HX Effects Tuner

Just wondering if anyone uses separate tuner with HX Effects because HX Effects tuner is not very dependable. Not saying it's inaccurate. However, and this is especially true in live situation, the HX Effects tuner display (I have tried the course, fine and strobe settings and do prefer strobe) will bounce all over the place with notes displayed don't even seem correct. IE I will be getting close to a note (as confirmed with headstock tuner and HX display is bouncing across 3 or 4 different notes) This has happened to me on two separate HX Effects units. It is a show stopper for me. Interestingly enough, the tuner on the HX stomp XL seems to be rock solid and bullet proof. HX Effects firmware is the latest 3.7.1. Thanks,
  2. I have both and both seem to have the same problem in live, studio situations The display will not register "E" when tuning low E string. I will bounce back and forth between D and F. It does this even after I have confirmed that string is pretty much at E with my headstock tuner which I need to use when I have this problem. Both units latest firmware. POD Go 2.0.0 and Helix 3.7 (i believe) Really strange as it does not happen when just playing at home so it does seem to related to background noise, I guess. I have read some other post to try lowering the tone knob on guitar and/or switching to neck pickup while tuning. I can try that. But any other thoughts appreciated. TX
  3. My Pod Go had been successfully updated to latest version: 2.0.1. It states this on device boot up screen. However, POD Go edit software does not "see" it: IE on opening software I get prompt to upgrade firmware I just ignore prompt and everything still works fine. However confirmed that POD Go Edit is seeing old firmware as none of the "new" devices (amps or effects) are available in software. The new devices with 2.0 are all there and selectable in the POD Go itself. Any ideas? Thanks, Marc
  4. NVM. Seems to have worked using Line 6 updater utility. I am guessing that is what previous poster meant by Line 6 central. Regards, M
  5. Hi, Getting same error. Followed advice on going to Line6 Central Did that and got the .hxf file download. Probably a stupid question but how do you then install that firmware file? Still seems like only option is to select update upon opening of POD Go edit which leads to same error, TX, Marc
  6. Purchasing fbv2 foot controller which cycles between channels a,b,c,d. .how do i assign these channels in this amp, are they from 12 amp models, tone presets? No problem finding different AMP models and USER Presets Question is how to map them to 4 channels A,B, C and D for use with the FBV2
