Thanks again, guys. I tried the headphones and didn't get anything. What's the type of cord I need to connect the HD500 to my amp? It's a Line 6 Spider IV, if that makes any difference.

I am very new to this and I am not a very smart person, but I have my HD 500 set up to my laptop and guitar, but I am not hearing any sounds coming out of it (and yes, the volume is up on my guitar, laptop, and HD500). I feel as if the answer to this would be something very simple. Thanks in advance.
