  1. yeah, i believe something weird is going on there too. it really should save the patch to the unit when you press "send selected" or at least have an option to send and save. but the workaround does work and all my patches are now saved and sound the way they should!
  2. Okay i figured it out. You must press save on the unit after making any changes. I assumed that using the "send to device" button in hd edit would save the patch since it hid the asterisk in hd edit. I noticed the asterisk was still showing on the unit, so by pushing save on the unit it keeps that changes permanently. Makes sense to me now.
  3. Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. I am only making changes to the unit after I unhook from the usb. It's only as a result of the changes not staying the way they should. I don't do any editing on the unit itself. I have only been changing the volume of the mixer since it seems to not be "sticking" after i unplug the editor.
  4. So i've had my 500 for about a year and had this issue when I first got it but it worked itself (maybe I figured out the work around and forgot/not sure) out back then, but since I've been reworking my patches I've had it happen again: When I change the volume on the mixer in edit, it sends the change to the unit. I will then send the selected patch to the unit to save it, but when I use the unit to change patches, it ignores the mixer change and goes back to a lower setting. The work around I've found is to use the unit to edit the mixer setting and then it works/saves permanently to the unit. But I cannot understand why it keeps happening. I must be doing something wrong and I would like to figure out what so I can not keep doing it. Any help is appreciated. :)
