I have decided to rejuvenate an old hobby and purchase some equipment to do some home recording. I am looking at the Mbox as my audio interface and I would like to purchase a Line 6 M13 Stompbox for effects and looping. As I will probably be doing some late night recording and not want to mic my amp, I am looking for a solution to bring the digital signal from the pedals to the Mbox. It was suggested I might need an amp modeler to transition between the M13 and the Mbox before it inputs into my computer for recording. Can anyone shed light on this for me or suggest a reasonably priced amp modeler that will do the trick? I don't need any effects on the amp modeler as I expect to use the Line 6 M13 for all of my effects.
