Hi. I just picked up a Spider IV 15 and, for the most part, I think it's a great little amp for the money. One thing that's bugging me is that it seems to make my G3X stomp-box sound "muffled" or "thick". I've tried adjusting the tone controls, but while that seems to change the sound, it doesn't seem to "un-muffle" it.
I used to have a Roland CUBE 30 and the G3X sounded great playing through its Clean channel: Everything sounded well-balanced (brights were bright, mids were "middy", etc.). I demo'd a Marshall MG15CFX recently and the G3X sounded good through that amp's Clean channel, too. So I know there's nothing wrong with my guitar (2013 Gibson SG Standard) or the G3X.
Any thoughts on what I can try on the amp to fix this?
Thanks! :)
