My cables are working fine and they work with my guitar when it's not plugged into the pod, but as soon as I plug it in I get no sound other then feedback if I stick a distortion patch in

Still getting nothing, there's no signal coming from the tuner.

I'm getting any sound at all out of my pod I've tried everything, plugging it into an amp, plugging it into my mac, using headphones with it and still no sound. I'm annoyed as I only bought it two days ago and for some reason I'm not getting any sound/signal from it. Any help would much appreciated! It's probably something simple but I'm not a tech genius sadly :/!
