Hi all!
I have had a problem with my HD500X causing my PC to crash whenever I unplugged my USB cable from either the PC or the HD500X. This has been going on for several years now. I had a pretty long USB cable and believed that that was the problem. I tried several other computers (all W10 machines). Nothing seemed to help. The other day I ordered a basic laptop with Windows 11 on it so I wouldn't have to run such a long USB cable to my desktop. I got a new shorter USB cable and thought all would be fine. Unplugged the HD500X from the laptop and lo and behold...the SAME $htuff~ :(
I did find out though, that if I shut down the editor first, THEN unplug the USB cable, all is fine!!!!
I did see articles with others having BSODs frequently when using the editor, but mine only did it when disconnecting the USB cable.
It's weird, but I have never had any other product/program cause a BSOD like this in the last 15 years!
