  1. Totally agree... my hxs was intended for studio recording, and for my amp only for the digital fx (mods) that I don't have on my pedalboard. I do use the inst output, actually. Your info is really helpful, thank you so much! Edit: even on an fx loop, I enjoy the natural sound of the amp, so no amp/cab on hxs
  2. Definitely. After further tests, if i get the output of the hx stomp using ts cable to my presonus interface... is deadly silent. so, I tweaked my amp, and with treble on 2 (of 12) and no reverb, I get silence. But I still want to understand the why. thanks for answering, man!
  3. Thank you for your answer... 1. The noise is there even on empty presets, even on DSP bypass. So no path at all. 2. The noise is there with just the stomp plugged into my fender blues jr, with no other cable attached. 3. No cables USB included. If I connect my studio monitors instead of my amp (via TRS - balanced), they are so quiet.
  4. Yes, maybe. If I could "adress" the issue I'd blame Balance/Unbalanced output, as the noise is not there if I use the monitors.
  5. Sure, the noise you hear was recorded with only hx stomp and my amp, with an empty preset. One sound is analog bypass and the next is not. Noise.m4a
  6. I have the same issue, but haven't get any fix on the forums.
  7. Hi, thank you for your answers. Tha audio is my amp, volume crancked up (to make it more evident). And the Hx Stomp is on, working with a clear preset (42C) and the noise changes with analog bypass on and off. Also, no noise on headphones output. edit: using a TRS cable to my monitors, I also have no noise. So, i supose this is balanced/unbalanced situation. But I can't find a config other than inst/line Noise.m4a
  8. Hi everyone! I got my Hx Stomp the day before yesterday, updated (as recommended) an plugged into my pedalboard. Everything works great, except for the background noise. I decided to unplugged everything, even different electrical outlet and with/without a furman electrical conditioner, even unplugged the guitar and left just the hx stomp directly to the amp... same noise. If I analog bypass the Hx Stomp there is an almost absolute silence (even when the rest of my analogs are on the send/return, and the guitar on the input). All inputs/outputs are on inst mode If I change the output to line, the noise (and volume) increases (as it should be). If I turn the hx stomp on, the noise is there just when it fully load (quiet on loading). The noise is there on every preset (some are more noisy, expected on fuzz effects or so). Noise is not volume related, noise is the same if I turn the hx stomp volume max or min. Noise is present even on FX or DIR effects Noise gate will not improve the noise itself (but I'll try to work with it today) So, I think this is just config related noise. Any advice will be really appreciated. Thank you for reading!
