i figured it out, i just had to go in to my files and find the right icon to open it up.

I was updating my pod hd500 to the 2.62 flash memory and it says it is installed, but the version could not be determined. And somehow it has erased my memory and none of my functions work on the pedal and i have no effect and can't use my speakers with it. I downloaded the file and tried updating from file, but it gives me a code 800900C midi device timed out waiting for a response. What can i do to get it to recognize my software version?

I have a POD HD500 and I just bought an Apple Mac Mini. I downloaded the POD500 edit file and the Line 6 Monkey and when I open them, there is just a window with an open cardboard box that opens the install option again. Do I need to download additional software to use the editor on a Mac Mini? it uses the OS X.
