Pfffff sounds tricky; never done this before. I don't want to loose my presets.... Is there a good manual for doing the factory reset and restoring my presets?

I have the Helix floor..... and indeed it is the mode switch.....

When I hit the button for instance for switching from the patch to the stompboxes overview the sound drops to approx. 50%. Is there something wrong with the switches?

How can I activate a stompbox only by holding the switch down so it wil deactivate as soon as you take your foot of the switch..

but how can you use one switch for going from one box to another and back. so pushing the switch, stompbox 1 is activated than pushing the same switch stompbox 2 is activated and stompbox 1 is switched off. so you can toggle between the two boxes....
