  1. bjnette, thanks. I bought it just yesterday by the way.
  2. Guys, relax. I already bought the POD HD500X. After the all my previous questions I already knew it's the best I can afford. This only debate was left because a man want to believe he's got the best piece of equipment in his hands. Also, I saw many people around the net saying there isn't much difference, one of theme even from Line 6 forums saying he regret he bought the Helix when he is already got the Pod, saying he going to sell it soon. Also I saw here blind comparisons where people couldn't tell which is which. But I also saw many people around the net saying the Helix is much better. So I wasn't sure, tempted to believe the Pod is the best along with the Helix. I assume I was mistaken, but again, it's the best I could afford anyway...
  3. But now I found two videos where the sound is almost the same: The guy also use the same guitar as in the recording if I'm not mistaken. Now I really confused.
  4. I have to clarify myself, videos like that was my indication: And I also verified by those videos that the Helix capable to produce more or less the same sounds as Kemper amps. But maybe those videos are not a good indication, I don't have an actual sound tech knowledge, maybe my point of view is wrong, and you can explain me why. There are people here with better understanding and more sound tech knowledge.
  5. First of all, I want to apologize if I'm flooding the forum, I have to decide until tuesday if I'm buying the Pod HD500X. I barely slept for 3 nights because of this, I'm investigating this piece of equipment all over the internet day and night, reading and listening to demos. And here is the thing that bothering me: This amp modeling technolagy supposed to sound like real tube amps, not to invent new sounds. I mean, they even sell it as a mimic of some specific famous tube amps, and let you know exactly what brand and the model they trying to mimic. But after hours of listening to demos and comparisons, I didn't find the Pod sounds like the models it tries to mimic, at all. I did not found even one recording that the sound was really the same or almost the same. I also listened to other amp modelers to get a perspective, I have found that the Helix sounds really close to the real deal, but it's not in my budget anyway. So, what do you think about all that?
  6. Do you mean the metronome headphone output level?
  7. I'm definitely going to use the amp modelling, But I need it for several purposes. At home I'm going to us the amp modelling all the time, but in a rehearsal room and gigs I definitely will use the amp modelling if I'll have the option and if it will fit the specific situation, but I can see some situations where I'll have to plug it into a tube amp. The reason I'm asking is because I saw some complaints from users who said that the Pod doesn't work well just as a multi effect combine with a tube amp, while other users sayed that this complaints is none sense and it works perferctly well just as a multi effect combine with a tube amp.
  8. OK, how about that the Roland CM 30 CUBE Monitor? It 30W Monitor, also very light weight, I can't understand from the specs if it's stereo or not(due to poor knowledge in sound and the science behind it). Is it good for my needs? Here the official product page: https://www.roland.com/us/products/cm-30/specifications/
  9. I understand there is no metronome in the Pod. I have a metronome unit with a headphone output, if I connect the metronome from the headphone output to the Pod cd/mp3 input, will I hear the metronome from the amplification connected to the pod?
  10. I understand that it is the most comfortable to edit presets through a computer software, especially deep editing, but if I'm in the rehearsal room and I want to change a little thing in the preset on the moment just by clicking the buttons of the Pod, is it possible? Or every change in the presets only through a software? One more thing, if I want to connect the Pod to let say a tube amp, and use it only as a multi effect, without the amp modelling, should it be fine just as a multi effect?
  11. OK, thanks for your answer. I need a keyboard amp strong enough for small gigs with the Pod hd500x. What do I mean small? Like a really small hall, or a coffee shop, with quit music like smooth jazz, or backing a pop singer(just me and a singer), or a solo performance of me playing holydays songs, somthing like that. That should be enough for me. Oh, and I need it to be very light weight and compact, because I travelling with my equipment through public transportation. The only keyboard amp I found that is portable enough is the Behringer Ultratone KT108. But it is only 15 Watts, can it be loud enough for my needs? And in the specs it's writen that it's got 2 channels, it's mean it's stereo amp, right? Link to the official product page: https://www.music-group.com/Categories/Behringer/Keyboards/Keyboard-Combo-Amplifiers/KT108/p/P0378
  12. I understand that the Pod is simply a digital amp without a speaker. Should it work well with a keyboard amp? I understand that the Pod should be connected to a stereo amplification, but most of the keyboard amps today are stereo, aren't they? And one more very important question: how loud are those keyboard amps? I mean, If I cennect the Pod to a 15 watt keyboard amp, will it be loud as the Line 6 Spider 15, or the Peavy Vyper 15? If not, then bummer...I really need a small mobile keyboard amp that could reach those volumes...
