My amp also initially failed to update. After restarting my amp and computer I attempted the update again and SUCCESS!!! v1.05 is back and sounds right.

When I first got the wireless receivers/transmitter it would not work because of the wireless receivers built into the amp ,I had heard that when you plug the cable from guitar in to the amp it disconnects the receiver in the amp the angle connector dose the same allowing the third party wireless system to work I do have a slight bit of static but it's controllable ,just didn't want to damage the amp

Found that if you use an angle cable adapter on my spider 120 you can use third party wireless system. The question is will t it do anything to the amp.
