  1. If you use the helix usb out to connect to a computer or iOS device you can use an app called MIDI Guitar 2 that will convert your guitar into a polyphonic synthesizer. I get very nice organ , sax, flute, string patches this way. It takes a while to figure out but, working in small bands it’s nice to be able to blend these instruments with my regular guitar tone. i actually do this on a podgo, so it should be easier to set up on a full helix. Its even possible to do on a podexpress
  2. Well, im not sure how I would connect the controller directly to the podgo the have identical usb type b ports… any suggestions?
  3. I have a USB hub, I plug three things into it 1) the podgo, 2) the foot control, and 3) a midi keyboard… all three go to my IOS via camera connection kit. I can use all three devises to send midi signals to my IOS synth app (sample tank) which sends synth tones back to my podgo and out to my PA. it all works pretty well to integrate my synth and guitar rigs (I also run an app that converts the guitar signal from the pod into midi… so the guitar basically becomes a midi controller to play my synth. sorry that was long… it’s a complicated set up… but it allows me to play horn sections in unison with my guitar or have my guitar chords dubbed by an organ. Now I want to use my foot control we to change snapshots will activating certain midi instruments… seems like it should be possible:-)
  4. So, I know that the podgo can send midi program change messages when changing presets. Is it possible to configure the foot switches on the PodGo to send Midi PC or CC messages? If so, how?
  5. Does anyone know if the podgo will respond to midi messages from an external foot controller? The manual seams to indicate “yes” but I’ve also read that podgo only responds to midi messages from a computer or tablet. I’ve got an Ampero Control midi foot switch… it works with my DAW… but the podgo doesn’t seam to be receiving the messages. any advice?
  6. I am currently runing two lines into my m9 (through the left and right input) and trying to put the stereo effect on only the left channel. It works perfectly when I run stereo out, but when I run mono out both lines get the effect. Can I get I get differentiated effects while running mono out. It seams that if the signals sum to mono after the stereo chorus peddle I should be able to do this. More potentially relavant info about my rig: I use an boss octave drop peddle and send my dropped signal to the right channel of the m9 and the "through" channel to the left. I want different delays for the base notes vs guitar notes and then I want to run them to the same amp. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Ps. I wish we had more stereo effects on the m9... some effects just don't sound good on both guitar and bass
