hi all, I ve got a helix hx I am trying to use for channel swap on the amp. For all of the above the following applies: - JVM footcontroller is disconnected - JVM midi is on MIDI channel 1 - MIDI operation Pressing the FOOTCONTROLLER / MIDI PROGRAM switch twice puts the amplifier in MIDI waiting mode, the LED will flash until a valid MIDI program change command is received Boss ES5 (works) I can get it working using a Boss ES5: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YI65cgA4XI Midi cable setup: Boss ES5 (out) > JVM (IN) Also going from Boss through the helix (midi passthrough works). Midi cable connection: Boss ES 5 (out) > Helix (IN) > Helix (out) > JVM However, this is using Midi patch panel change. Not sure how this differs from MIDI CC? Helix HX (not working) For Helix im following this video : https://youtu.be/simaPS7dzLw?t=55 Midi cable connection: Helix (out) > JVM I am using MIDI CC and following the table in JSH User manual. channel : 1 Function: CC: 16 value 2 = clean channel, Orange mode. I set the amp up so that the midi controller is BLINKING and it doesnt stop blinking: its not receiving the signal? I feel like Im close to getting there. Any ideas? Thanks, Eric

I did something similar today where I powered on 1 amp. on connected to helix via 7CM but only goint to 1 cab. I havent bought the second cab yet: I d like to go stereo. So far so good ;-) Eric

hi all, I had an idea of using the Helix HX in 7 cable method and then hook up each amp head with two cabs. See the diagram below/attached. The idea is to only run 1 amp at the time but NOT having to shift any cables around when switching amp. Just flick running amp off, turn the other one on. Will this work? Thanks, Eric

I m using the 4CM method at home and I d like to record some of it going out of the Helix HX straight into sound card. I m using a line 6 G10 unit to try and go into sound card to avoid too many cables all over ;-) Is this possible? I just tried and there was no sound coming into sound card. The green LED on the G10 is not green when I put it in sound card. thats telling a story. I did go into global settings but wasnt able to make a difference. Is there something there I need to change?
