I just bought the POD HD Pro x and I'm wondering if I can use my Revv G4 pedal as the preamp. Also I've been hearing the term Cab IR in videos on youtube and from what I understand they are just simulated cabinets. If I'm running the POD through an actual cabinet, do I need to use one of the preset Cab IRs? Is there a way to bypass them and strictly use the FX in conjunction with my Revv? Please excuse my ignorance I'm a complete newbie to the tech side of guitars, and any help at all would be appreciated.
