  1. I have POD Farm 2.5 Platinum. It is currently iLok licensed. Can I use the License Manager for this rather than iLok?
  2. All of a sudden the POD Farm 2 VST's are working in Sonar ????
  3. I have everything else, that uses iLok, such as several Antares products. and Izotope Ozone 5, working OK. It's just the POD Farm 2.
  4. I tried the POD Farm 2 in Sonar (I have the iLok connected and the iLok License Manager shows it as POD Farm Platinum. When I access the POD Farm in Sonar, I get a message "No POD Farm License found".
  5. I'm installing my Line 6 products on a new Win 8.1 PC. I have the Monkey, Gearbox, POD Farm 2 and License Manager installed (and the driver for my POD X3). I authorized this new PC. I had POD Farm 2 running on older computer and have the iLok license. However, the Line 6 License Manager will not Authorize it or show it as an add on. I use POD Farm 2 VST's with Sonar. How do I get my POD Farm 2 authorized?
  6. I've fixed the problem. I'm sending the HD back. I found a NOS X3 that I am buying. If I were using amp modeling and distortion, I would not notice the difference between the HD and the older XT/X3's. But, as I only use it for effects only it is very sterile. Sort of like comparing the XT/X3 to a tube amp and the HD to a solid state amp. Or another comparison, I have a Boss DD-5 delay pedal, it does not change the guitar's tone. I tried a Boss RV3 (tried several) and it changes the basic guitar tone slightly (guitar tone loses some body).
  7. The included Leslie simulators (Rotary and Rotary Drum with Horn) are not very intuitive or realistic. I had a killer rotary in my XT and later X3. But the one in the HD leaves a lot to be desired. Any suggestions to make it better? I tried adding a 4 band EQ and that helped a little but it still sucks.
  8. OK, I figured it out. The Mixer Left/Right controls had to be set to "0". The default is 100% Left and 100% Right. (I only use one output - Left). Now to get the reverb set to what I want, the settings are different in the HD, as I used the "lux Reverb" in the X3 and that is not one of the options.
  9. According to the HD Edit, "Guitar" is set as the input. I'd post a screen shot but I can't figure out how to do it on this forum.
  10. I'm trying to set up a new HD Desktop, similar to how I have a POD X3 setup with effects only. I programmed one user location with Delay and Reverb only, as I have it setup in the X3, but there is no effects when I try it with my Pedal Steel Guitar. Can I set it this way or do I have to have an amp in the chain? I plan to set up some tones with amps in them later, but want the "no amp/effects only" if it can be done.
