I think, I have found a workaround. The computer recognizes the HX Stomp as audio device, if it is switched on and connected before the PC boots. The computer does not regonize the device as audio interface, if the HX Stomp is switched on when the PC is already running (at least in my system enironment). I hope Line6 can come up with a real fix.

I have the exact same problem. However I use win 10 and cubase.
