I have a Laney IRT Studio which is a 15w tube amp with many interesting options: DI output, an internal dummy load to be able to use it without being connected to a speaker, headphone output, effects loop, etcetera, etcetera.
I deeply love the sound of that amp and I would like to incorporate in its effects loop a unit that allows me two things: to add good reverbs and delays (I would like, above all, a double delay like Andy Timmons') and that also allows me to play with headphones at night, when my son is sleeping. The amp has a headphone output but the cabinet emulator is not very good.
I was thinking of buying a Line 6 POD GO to use just the effects and cabinet emulation, also allowing me to plug in my headphones there and have a better sound with better cabinet emulation.
Is the Pod Go a good option to do all that or can you think of any other interesting alternative? (the price of the Pod Go is my budget limit to spend)
