  1. Ok so like a buffered effect before the fuzz ? and why the tilt eq and not the simple eq? Because of the high end?
  2. thanks for thre replies. i do know about the impedance issues and how they work. I use my fuzzes first in line(after wah) but because i play wireless the fuzz tone is affected and the cleanup is almost gone. i tried a 10k trimpot at the input of the fuzz circuit and it does help a little. I'm also going to try the 'amz pickup simulator' at the input of the fuzz circuit but i still have to wait until the parts arrive. Maybe this does a little magic trick. 0.o I just don't want to give up my G50 wireless system because it sounds great(equal as with cable) and it's a really well build device you can trust on.
  3. Hi there. i have a HX FX and i’m a fuzz lover. But i play wireless so welcome to the impedance thingy. is there a way to change the input impedance on the HX ? I found some info about the full helix(global setting -> ins/outs) but on the HX i can’t find impedance settings. i have some fuzz face pedals that i would like to use but it sounds terrible now. The fuzz models on the HX i haven’t really tried yet but first impressions was not really good. so is there a way on the HX my wireless (Line 6 G50) interacts better with a analog fuzz or a fuzz on the HX ? thanks
  4. I did try that but this also lowers the output of the pedal.
  5. Hi there. i have a HX FX but i want keep using my ac30 drive and my Nobels ODR-1 drive. I have the ODR-1 in the Fx loop of the HX but i would like to put the volume of the odr up and then lower it with the HX but without sound quality loss of the odr. It this possible? Maybe with a gain patch assigned to the same switch? when lowering the volume on the pedal or on the Fx loop the gain and sound quality is getting poor. thanks
  6. That's right. The helix is more expensive. If I put my amp on the gain channel and use the hd500x in the fx loop. How do I adjust my clean tone ? Where does the clean sound come from.. because I have not enabled a amp model..
  7. Ok thanks. By that you mean the helix will have a option to control the channels on the amp like the original footswitch?
  8. Thanks! Expensive little box I see.. is there a alternative ?
  9. Hi all. Since a few months ago I got a HD500X and it works perfect. But.. I got a new amp (Marshall JTM60) and I would like to use the drive of the amp for rhythm and boost the solos with the hd500x. Is it possible in a 4 cable method to switch between the clean and gain channel of my Marshall amp with the hd500x? Another question: what should be the best setting and effect order for the hd500x to work in a 4CM ? (I only use cleans, drives(of amp), reverb, delay, wah and boost. ) Thanks. Marco
  10. I was asking this for my acoustic. I totally do not agree with you about using no amps for electric. But I will not go off topic :-)
  11. Ok thanks. Would it sound better if i connect it to the mixer or my amp? Or makes it no difference ?
  12. Thanks all for the replies. Yesterday I tried some of the acoustic presets and with some tweaking it sounds acceptable for me. My twin amp is at the studio so i'm making the presets with a vox amplug headphone on. It sound good now. But.. is it also possible to connect 2 guitars(1 electric and 1 acoustic) to the POD.. and have the electric presets go to the electric amp and the acoustic to the mixer?(maybe with the balanced xlr?) They do not have to be on at the same time. I just have to switch between them. Regards Marco
  13. Hi all. I just got my self a new HD500X since a few days. I really like the sounds (using without amp sim.) But is it also possible to use a acoustic guitar on the HD500x and send it to the amp and still keep my sweet acoustic tone ? Maybe there is a DI/Preamp preset that can work ? AC guitar -> HD500X -> Fender Twin amp. Regards. Marco
