Hello,
I would like to report the following problem. Maybe you are experiencing this too.
In short, after having updated to the latest version of Native and the latest version of Cubase 14 Pro, opening Native on my DAW causes an instant crash.
My gear:
- MacBook Pro 2021
- 32 GB RAM
- OS Sequoia 15.3.2
- Cubase 14 Pro latest patch
- Native latest patch
Issue:
- I have always used Native without issues. Now, when I try to load it on a track, Cubase instantly crashes.
- The crash report seems to suggest that it is in fact Native VST3 that causes the crash.
- Cubase VST manager looks ok. The plug in is not blacklisted or anything. Every other plug in works fine.
- I tried with Cubase 13. Same result
- I tried with Garage Band. The plug in does not open and I instantly receive a pop up message telling me that the plug in is making the system unstable and that I should reopen the DAW. So, the problem is not confined to Cubase.
Attempted solutions suggested by support:
- Uninstall/reinstall. Done 5 times. Nothing
- Start cubase with wi-fi off and open Native. Same result as above.
Support insists that there is no incompatibility. However, it seems to me that there is a problem with the plug in itself, considering that I cannot open it anymore in Cubase and also Garage Band.
Are you experiencing something similar? Any ideas on how to fix it? Thank you so much.
