Thanks for this. Have you had any indication of whether the FX loops definitely convert d to a and then back again (so in essence this happens twice to your signal)? I'd live to put my Strymon Riverside and Tumnus in the loop if possible to have wah and Phaser before my drives. It'd be a shame if the d to a and lack of dynamics restricted that flexibility.

Hi I'm in a similar boat but play in a rock covers band. Im looking to add the riverside to my HX stomp and I have the Tumnus deluxe which is fantastic as a lead solo boost. Let me know if you went ahead with this and if the riverside worked out for you. I'd be looking to put my riverside in the FX loop of the stomp and have the hx stomp do most of the rest. Ie hx wah, hx phase, loop with riverside Tumnus and flashback delay, hx reverb and amp into a dual 4x12 hx cab on both sides with slightly different sound's for a stereo feel.
