Hi,
I've been using my pod go for a few months now and I struggle to get a usable sound out of it, it sounds really really fat mostly.
With a LOT of fiddling I can get a reasonably usable bridge pickup tone, but not great, switch to the neck and it's still honking fat bass frequencies drowning out everything.
I mostly use it with closed back headphones (currently cheap AKG studio headphones, but I've tried a few others and it sounds different but still crap and with the same muddy fat sound)
I've tried multiple guitars, I tried using the global bass cut, which improves things (at around 200Hz!), but again not great. I've fiddled with most eq settings, amp settings, cab settings, pedal settings and I'm about at the point of selling it and moving on.
Please can someone offer some advice as to what I'm doing wrong, I would like to use this for practice and recording. This is a sophisticated bit of kit and I'm sure it's user error, but what I don't know.
