Have you used other cables? I tried mine with 3 different ones before It could work. Once it works, the macbook should immediately recognize it. Hope you can figure it out!

So I got a new spider v 20 mkii and managed to download the Spider Remote. However I can't figure out how to connect both. The user manual puts it simple: use a USB A to Micro B and the software should spot it instantly. But this didn't happen... maybe I'm doing something wrong...?
