Good day All Please help. I purchased Native last night and loaded onto my new Dell laptop. My DAW is Reaper and interface a Scarlett 2nd Gen 6i6, monitoring with headphones. I thought great, let’s start off by checking out the presets. Inserted new track, armed the track and added Native as the FX. After trying out every 30 odd presets Native turns off and all I hear is my dry signal. The only way I can continue is to shutdown Reaper and start the process over, starting from the last preset I have tried. Apologies if this problem has been discussed before. I couldn’t find anything. Am I missing something? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you Phil Yes, I had been reading up on this, but the “balanced” versus “unbalanced” made little sense to me. I will use normal mono Jack to XLR microphone cables.

A noob question here. I just purchased a HX Stomp. The Cheat Sheet and manual say that TRS to XLR cables must be used for connecting to a mixing desk. My understanding of a TRS is a stereo Jack plug. I have many of mono Jack to XLR cables. Would these not work? If so, what are the benefits of using one or the other? I want to connect to the mixer in stereo. your advice would be appreciated. cheers Jim
