I recently purchased a Keeley Halo dual delay pedal so I can use all of my tones within one preset with the Halo in the stereo fx loop.
I’m a little confused as to the best way to use the loop. I have two splitter Y cables going from the send/return to the stereo inputs/outputs of the Halo.
I’ve read online that anything before the cab block is in mono, so do I ‘lose’ the stereo nature of the pedal if I put the fx loop before the cab?
I’ve tried putting the fx block after the cab, and for one of my snapshots I turn the cab block off, but then the tone changes drastically, and the signal only comes out of one side of my headphones.
Can anyone advise me as to how to get the best out of the stereo fx loop? This is my first time using any kind of fx loop before, so it’s quite confusing, and my it’s entirely possible I’ve done all of this completely wrong!
