  1. Well that certainly worked! The Aggregate Device concept is the ticket. I really appreciate the help, thank you so much!
  2. Plugging headphones into the interface does work, so does that mean the Metallurgy stand alone apps can only output audio through the same audio device they receive input from? The Metallurgy settings let me select one "Audio Device" and offers selections for both input and output from/to that one device. Maybe that's the limitation.
  3. I'm trying to use the speakers on my MacBook. I can load the Metallurgy apps as plug ins in GarageBand and hear them, but there's no sound output from them as standalone apps. I can see the meters bouncing as they should, so the input seems to be there. I've turned off the apps' tuner mute. I have the MacBook Air speakers selected as outputs in the "Audio Midi Setup" settings. The three Metallurgy apps are approved/enabled in Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Microphone. I'm using a Scarlet 2i2 and an M1 MacBook on MacOS Ventura. Is there anything else I can check to see why I can't hear the standalone apps through my laptop speakers?
