Hello. My name is Dan and I am new to learning guitar and my new HX Effects. Right now I take online Zoom lessons. My instructor and I talked about what type of effects would be bets right now. He suggested three: a clean with reverb, a distorted without reverb, and a big arena type rock solo effect. I just bought the HX Effects so when I turn it on I get the scream 808, red squeeze, looper (I know that one, lol), simple pitch and elephant man. Sorry for being a dolt but I have no idea what these are or how they sound. Any help would be appreciated. If you live in SoCal I would travel to you if you want to help. Thanks again.
