Factory Reset Pod XT Live

I found this thread yesterday. I just bought a used POD XT Live and I would like to reset it to factory settings. I found this whole thread really confusing. Can someone please sum up how to go about doing a factory reset? Is connecting to the board to computer necessary to do a factory reset?
