Good moring, Helix users. I'm a long time helix user, first time posting.
I was hoping to use the helix to control Ableton Live (start, stop, next, pervious), and in turn have Ableton live switch snapshots
I have Ableton switching snapshots on the Helix - check.
I've set up four buttons in the Helix command centre to control Ableton by sending momentary note on messages mapped to play, stop, next marker and previous marker - check.
(yes, I have duplicted the same settings for all 8 snapshots).
Then I start using it.
After a few songs one of the four control centre bottons will randomly switch from momentary to latching (indicated by the ligh staying on).
Not a problem initially, except, when that snapshot is next selected, it sends the latched midi note back to Ableton. Causing Ableton to respond by either stopping, or jumping to the next/previous track.
I have tried everything! The bug is consistant and repeatable.
I've tied using two different midi channels. channel 3 from Ableton to Helix, and channel 4 from Helix to Ableton.
I''ve even tried using other control center messages to trigger ableton. Hotkeys, Midi CC, MCC (didn't work - not implemented in Ableton). The same issue everytime, it works initially, then after a few songs, one of the bottons will latch on!
I'm about to try to programme a work around with Bome's Midi Translator - but I don't hold out much hope!
1. Come on line 6 - fix this please!!

3. Anyone got an idea of a fix/work around?
I bought the helix because it sounds great, but also to act as a midi controller - at the moment it's not reliable.
