  1. Thanks! I do use the X edit but the first 2-3 months I forced myself to just use the unit so that I would be able to make changes on the fly. Once I was comfortable with that I started using the X edit. What surprises me is that it seems like it's just my unit, I wasn't able to find any video/picture where it looks like mine that's why I feel like cheated...If I saw even one or two like mine I would say uh...it's ok! I believe that the marker it's not able to trace those minuscule writings, too thin. If its possible at all replacing them without opening the unit I would do it, I mean how much would they cost 5,10,15 $? Then I would apply the nail polish to protect them ;)
  2. Less then 6 months old and they are already fading out...it gets on my nerves... it starts looking like a TV remote control. Do they sell these buttons anywhere and is it possible to replace them without opening the unit? Talking about the VIEW-ACTION and PAGE-PAGE buttons. They look worse than the picture shows. 3. yeah I think I'm gonna go mono to FOH and with a send block to my amp that's it. Does it make any difference if I use just the LOutput with a TRS to FOH or I use both LR Outputs with 2 TRS? I wish Line 6 would update the manual with more connection diagrams, when this is a very important step and easy to screw up.
  4. I would rather use two amps on stage or no amp at all. I'm talking about free jazz ambient sound with loops and stuff like that, otherwise I wouldn't care.
  5. Hello I've been reading and reading about a solution but really couldn't find any. I use stereo blocks and ambient sounds with a parallel path and would like to give this sound to the FOH including the Amp and cab modeling but then I want to go my real amp in mono obviously without the amp block. Is it doable? Thanks a lot! This would save me from bringing two amps on stage.
  6. Thanks a lot! I appreciate that...I'll give it a try!
  7. So going back to the original question should I select them all and import them to the HX edit or just a few at the time? Then what should I do delete those that I don't like? is it even possible?) In order to save space...do I need to? or keep everything? What do you do if you had 5 IRs each with all the variation? Do you import everything or just a bunch, try them and then import more? Thanks!
  8. Is there any sampling frequency you would suggest? I noticed many are the same thing but with a different frequency.
  9. Forgot...is there any Amp or cab IRs worth downloading for jazz guitar? Either free or not...any opinion on the chop tones? Kinda expensive but are they really worth?
  10. Hello Yesterday was my first dumb topic and it went great...as I said already I'm new to the digital world and the HX stomp xl in particular. I play jazz and downloaded IRs of the polytone and the thiele evm12L cab which alone has a ton of wavs. Now my first question is do I import every wav to the X edit or just a few to try and then delete those I don't like (if possible at all) and then import a few more? I believe the number of wavs is NOT unlimited...How do you guys do? I was gonna buy some polytone IRs by dr Bonkers but the website won't let me checkout and even the contact page won't work...do you know if there is another way to contact the guy? Thanks!
  11. Thanks a lot everyone...solved!
