  1. Cheers, ill try and look something up. Just looking for something like a template, since im not yet too familiar with all teh options at hand.
  2. I found a video of about the issue of faulty pedals and tried opening the thing up. Light works just fine and there's no real visible issue at cause. I think for this one, it wasnt just luck, or rather being unlucky.
  3. Oy, I just recently entered the Helix family and haven't really gotten around all the amazing options yet. Just a quickie. Anyone sitting on a preset/template resembling some of the tones from Toto 35th anniversary concert? Most presets and templates i find are more geared towards the old fender /gibson days where I'm a sucker for his Bogner break-up tones and heavily distorted leads with the dual delay going on. Cheers
  4. Guess I'm lucky then, that its only the expression pedal :-D Would think there'd be some bug fix updates arriving at some point.
  5. Hi lad, ladies and everything in between I have this weird bug with my Helix LT. Volume/exp pedal simply stopped working after updating to 3.5. I'm fairly convinced it's a software thing, since the unit is bought second hand and seller actually told me the pedal didnt work. He then flashed old firmware 3.11(?) and sold it - et violá, the pedal worked just fine when i received the unit. Until now. So - anyone else experienced this? When i do hardware test mode (buttons 3-4) there's no response from neither sweep nor pedal clicks.
  6. Thanks, yeah youre right. It's the connection. But oh well, I'll be purchasing a powercab og laney lfr soon, and until then use Helix as audio interface and run it through my studio monitors. Headphones were just my backup option for late night noodlin. And then ill have to start trying it with PA in rehearsal once i get a grasp of all the options available.
  7. Thanks a bunch. Really great community here! Yes, changing the badonk amp for the slo did the trick. DSP and block usage is now something im very aware of. The headphones are my old Sony MDR-1A and i think the issue is the mic. I have to pull the TRS adaptor just slightly out in order to get decent sounds. If it's all the way in it sounds like using wet effects before a heavily distorted preamp, all mushy and very brittle and thin. But apart of from that, and just from using stock presets of the SLO og Rhet Shull, holy damn this thing is great. Now I just need a powercab or Laney LFR go get some "in the room" sound.
  8. Nope, not yet. I'll let you know.
  9. Thank you, both of you! Yes, it was indeed greyed out i meant, apologies for the vague explanation. I just tried with headphones and realised a TRS connection makes for a very thin and broken sound. So much I have to relearn about this digital world.
  10. Hi Probably a stupid question but I downloaded Ross Baileys lukather preset from the "learning with line6". I cannot seem to edit the amp chosen in the preset. I was trying to switch a line6 badonk for a Solo OD but it doesnt show the amp. What gives? Thanks
