  1. what's the impedance of the RCA out's on the Spider Jam? I'd like to record one of the beats Radiofunk 1. Are there any copyrights on this beat? Or is it ok to sample?

    Mods?

You don't want to run any speaker(s) with less impedance than the stock special celestion with 8 Ohms impedance. If you burn your amp, it's done, and they don't make spider jam's anymore. That being said, if you run a cab(s) with more than 8 Ohms, that's the safest. If you run 16 Ohms for example, 2 x 8 Ohm speakers or cabs in series it will thin out the sound and you'll get less than 75W output reducing any chance of doing harm to the Amp.
  3. I have so much gratitude for the session musicians hired to make the song presets on the Spider Jam. I am really digging the preset song Unexcited. It's the most fun way to learn scales using the pitch shift to go to different keys. Leotard is pretty fun too if you increase the BPM. Connecting it to an 8 Ohm 1x15 sealed cab from the speaker terminals on the 1x12 really improves the bass response. I've used a 5 string bass detuned to concert 432Hz and 1/2 step down A# on the Red Clean amp setting with the bass turned all the way up and the Amp sounds great through the sealed 15" cab.
  4. Thank you for the list. I love some of the session musician's work.
