Does anyone know what the best fix for the over heating problem? Please help

My Spider lll 150 after reaching operating temp keeps restarting. I've been told it's the main chip on the effects board and can't be fixed by user. Is that fact? Also the bank and preset functions are backwards on the toggle button. Does that have any bearing on the issue and can it be fixed? Thanks

I have a Spider III 150x2x12 When I power on the amp after a few seconds it shuts down and then restarts. Please help?
