Hello, I'm new here.
I need to repair a loose/broken "digital" pot. I suspect it is making the logic circuits do a fairly good impression of a slot machine's random light display.
Q1. How can I remove the knobs from the front panel without damaging them?
Q2. Where can I buy replacement parts?
I would appreciate any relevant advice and/or links. It seems a shame to scrap this amp for the sake of a bit of soldering.
If you think it is too old to fix, I'll use the speakers and cabinet for something else. Maybe build a 5W valve (tube) practice amp.
